I Sing for Change

Kalapriya’s collaborating artist, Dr. Gowri Ramnarayan, will be working with The Chicago Children’s Choir, Carnatic vocalists Ms. Roopa Mahadevan and Shiv Subramaniam, and other accompanists to convey Gandhi’s spirituality at various stages of his life, through music. This 85-minute program will feature songs about resisting injustice, the importance of community and compassion, and ultimately demonstrate Gandhi's continued relevance today.
