Dance Teachers for School Programs
Kalapriya Center for Indian Performing Arts is seeking dance teachers for its various school programs and academy initiatives. We invite applications from enthusiasts and experienced teachers to be a part of our team. (Note: we will consider your application even if you don't have any previous dance teaching experience). Teachers will be traveling to our partner Chicago Public Schools to execute our dance education programs. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Your resume should include:
Your dance training (e.g. what styles are you trained in and for how many years), and
your dance performance and/or teaching experience, if any.
Your cover letter should answer the following points:
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Indicate your general availability each week (e.g. one weekday per week or two weekdays per week for how many hours). Please specify the days and the times of the week (including weekends) that you may be available.
Your immigration/work visa status.
Note: Candidates must be fully vaccinated and submit to background checks in order to be considered.
